About HK Study Hub
HK Study Hub is a Hong Kong-based tutoring business helping students excel across the IB Diploma Programme, IGCSE, and the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). We offer 1-to-1 and small-group tutoring across Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, English, Business, and TOK, with specialist support for HL and SL students. We also provide strategic college counselling for applicants targeting leading universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and beyond. Our tutoring is available in person in Hong Kong and online, structured by sub-units, and focused on past-paper practice.
We serve students in Hong Kong and internationally who want more than generic, one-size-fits-all instruction. Our tutors bring substantial teaching experience, with many having 5-10+ years of experience tutoring IB, IGCSE, and MYP students. We meet students where they are, not where a pre-designed curriculum expects them to be, and we measure our success by real outcomes. You can see examples of student progress on our results page.
Beyond human tutoring, we are building an AI Tutor platform designed to complement our 1-to-1 sessions with targeted practice between lessons. This tool is currently under development and will give students additional ways to consolidate their learning alongside the guidance of a human tutor.
We are committed to academic integrity. Our tutors help students understand concepts, develop skills, and produce their own work. We do not write, rewrite, or complete assessed work on behalf of students. Students remain responsible for their own submitted assessments, and our role is to support that learning, not to replace it.

After working in IB tutoring and college counseling for over 10 years, we noticed something troubling. Most services treated students as numbers in a system, not individuals with unique strengths and challenges.
Pre-packaged courses. One size fits all advice. Tutors who couldn't adapt. We saw talented students struggle not because they lacked ability, but because no one took the time to understand how they learned best.
We also saw counselors who couldn't be held accountable for outcomes. Students would pay premium prices and still end up at safety schools because the guidance was generic, not strategic.
